ITS HOMELAND SECURITY

fuck face

Asslicker, :supergay: you still look gay in those blues..
they do boat saftey, and light houses, protect nothing..

I look a lot better than you do in your cook whites. Why don't you jump to, there E8, the Generals coming.

Last week I wrote a $25,000 ticket against a foreign tanker. BAM! my findings alone earned the US $25K what do you do...... NOTHING! You sit their and cook and use up funds.

Those old volunteers do boater safety.

In an average day, the Coast Guard ...
Saves 13 lives Responds to 64 search and rescue cases Rescues 77% of mariners in imminent danger Keeps 959 pounds of cocaine off the streets Saves $260,000 in property Interdicts 10 undocumented migrants trying to enter the United States Services 49 buoys and fixes 21 discrepancies (such as buoys moved by a hurricane) Provides a presence in all major ports Screens 679 commercial vessels and 170,000 crew and passengers Issues 200 credentials to merchant mariners Inspects 70 containers Inspects 33 vessels for compliance with air emissions standards Performs 30 safety and environmental examinations of foreign vessels entering U.S. ports Boards 15 fishing boats to ensure compliance with fisheries laws Investigates 12 marine accidents Responds to and investigates 10 pollution incidents Does security boardings of 5 high interest vessels Escorts 4 high-value U.S. Navy vessels transiting U.S. waterways Identifies one individual with terrorism associations Has 6 patrol boats and 400 personnel: ␣ Protecting Iraq’s offshore oil infrastructure ␣ Training Iraqi naval forces ␣ Keeping sea lanes secure in the Arabian Gulf.

We're law enforcement stupid. We're in the Seals, we ride on navy ships to give them domestic law enforcement authority.

And who wouldn't want to be stationed in a lighthouse. No uniforms, live on the coast somewhere cool, no command, free food, ummmmm extra pay.....for three years no militaristic life style......or in your services case no bullets or death.

(All your service does is take from the US economy, your service kills people, your service doesn't give a shit about work/life balance)

No formalized PT, only certain members of the Coast Guard even have PT Tests.

No monthly humps.

And there's only 50k of us. There's nothing special about being one of the few, the proud, the 320,000. (nothing few about it)

After serving in both services: I'm pretty happy I'm not getting shot at.

And home every night not worrying about when I'm gonna be deployed next.

Oh shit I have to go on deployment: dammit, where? Oh to louisiana dammit, put me up with flat screen, satellite TV, internet, give me an SUV to drive around in, free gas, free food, free plan ticket on a REAL airline, not some shitty mac flight.

I'd rather walk around downtown Tehran with an American flag than join the Marines again.

All for more money than you make........

:spanked:

that's the most coherent post I've ever seen you make pop.

I'm starting to make a habit of disappearing for months on end... something I'm working on fixing!

It was almost too appropriate that this topic was at the top of the list when I checked back in today as I've been on a few deployments and TDY's since last spring and have been totally out of touch with life in general.

8 years USAF! (4 enlisted, 4 officer)

Hopefully I'll be getting back into things around here in the next few months... I miss shooting up the place w/ you fools!

Damn dude, it's been a while! Hope all is well. Shoot me an invite when you get back into the swing of things.

I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.

9 years active duty CG. Speaking of pop'z stats...Personally had a hand in keeping 400lbs of weed and over 6000lbs of coke off the streets in my years on cutters.

Sucks to be away from home all the time, but drunk dialing from thousands of miles away is always a good time. Especially when you call collect and try to explain to your wife how the coked-out hooker stole your iPhone in Costa Rica.

I joined the CG because statistically, there are less dickheads. Simple math really.

Ummm lets get back to the orginal topic, plain and simple....

I was tired of getting shot at so I got out got a Masters Degree and came back in to make $100 G's

Does this really have to keep going on and on.

I'm not saying that I'm not extremely proud of my service in the Marines.

I was a green belt only because they had just instituted the program when i was getting out...
I am expert in rifle and pistol in the CG,
I was expert in rifle and pistol in the USMC,

Just tired of some pot stirrer making fun of me being in the Coast Guard now.....

Oh yeah by the way you can ditch the act now CHEF, DADT is repealed.....
