Phantom Trainee and Naval Stike Stuff

Postby Cabot500 » Fri Mar 07, 2014 9:57 am

I was poking around on Battlelog on PS4 and saw a new hidden assignment called Phantom Trainee. It looks to be similar to Phantom Prospect in that the requirements to activate the assignment are not displayed. Please post here if anyone figures it out or stumbles across this assignment unlock on other forums.

The naval strike assignments and ribbons/medal can also be viewed now on the PS4 Battlelog (but I don't see them from the PC version).

New weapons from completing the assignments: SR-2, AR160, AWS, SR338, SW40, M320 3GL, AA Mine.

New snakeskin style camo for the Phantom Trainee program.

New Medal: Carrier Assault Medal for 50 carrier assault ribbons.

New Ribbon: Carrier Assault Ribbon (win a round of carrier assault)

5 New Trophies:

The Big Leagues: Play a round of Carrier Assault
Killing Me Softly: Get a kill in the ACV
Spotted: Climb the highest point in Naval Strike
Fly Swatter: Kill an enemy with the AA Mine
No Parley: Get a kill with the old cannon

Can't wait for the new DLC!

I will finally get to play regularly with Aquaman (aka Jkar). He only comes out for water combat!

I did some research and it looks like some people are saying the unlock code for the assignment is packetloss. So far no where to enter it though. When you go to the same prompt on battlelog that we did for the first phantom assignment it shows you that the first assignment in the phantom program was unlocked and says to Stand By For Further Instrctions.

Carrier Assault sounds similar to Iron Gator from BF2 Special forces

Should be a lot of fun!!

Looks like the PC version of Battlelog received an update today. It's now showing the naval strike assignments/ribbons/awards and the progression bar for the new levels beyond 110 is working.

No info on the password for the Phantom Trainee assignment, but it looks like these are the requirements:
t['WARSAW_ID_P_XP2_AWARD_GHOST']="PHANTOM TRAINEE";
t['WARSAW_ID_P_XP2_AWARD_GHOST_CRIT1']="Score 200 kills with pistols";
t['WARSAW_ID_P_XP2_AWARD_GHOST_CRIT2']="Score 20 kills in a jet";
t['WARSAW_ID_P_XP2_AWARD_GHOST_CRIT3']="Get 2x Shotgun Ribbons in a round";
t['WARSAW_ID_P_XP2_AWARD_GHOST_DESC']="Unlocks Phantom weapon and vehicle camo";

574 pages and counting with theories on what the password could be on the Battlefield PC forums for this assignment. Crazy. I'm expecting one of them to figure out where Jimmy Hoffa's remains are.

The code bumpinthenight was found on the China rising maps on the stone pillars the ones that have the Chinese writing on them, I heard that they had to be unscrambled and and put into place to come up with the code. So perhaps it's the same way on Naval Strike maps.

They were actually Chinese dolls with braille markings on them. Those braille markings were numbers that each correlated to a letter in the alphabet.

Oh ok! So now all that needs to happen is the finding of the things that have the same type of system like braille I guess. :dunno:

Something like that. I've read a lot but nearly all of this and the theory's are endless. I'm just going to let someone else figure this out.
