Yesterday while playing HC Domination, I witnessed two dudes at an electric transformer.....one guy had a riot shield and the other I think was equipped with a LMG. The LMGer would continuously fire into the transformer while the Riot shield guy stood in the middle. Throughout that game, I just listened for the constant fire and toobed them. Not sure what they got out of doing that, but they awarded me plenty of double kill points

Haven't seen that, but I'm guessing that it was accumulating riot shield damage. Fucking boosters.

So you get points for just inflicting damage to the riot shield? News to me.

MW3 Riot Shield Challenges

Smasher - 500 XP - Get a 3 kill streak with the riot shield without dying.
Shield Veteran - 500 XP - Kill 2 enemies with a shield melee attack . ( 5 = 1000 XP , 15 = 2500 XP )
Back Smasher - 500 XP - Crush an enemy from behind .
Unbreakable - 500 XP - Deflect 10 explosions with your riot shield. ( 50 = 100 XP , 100 = 2500 XP )
Bullet Proof - 500 XP - Deflect a 1000 bullets with your riot shield. ( 10000 = 1000 XP , 500000 = 2500 XP )
Sponge - 500 XP - Absorb a 1000 bullets with your riot shield . ( 10000 = 1000 XP , 500000 = 2500 XP )

Gotcha. You would figure that you couldn't achieve that by your own team inflicting the damage.

Oh well.....I got to kill boosters. Awesome!

If anyone wants to get some of these challenges, find a sentry gun and sit in front of it - worked for me!
