Single player/Story mode

I got this over the weekend even with reading of the problems. I haven't been online with the game as of yet, demo yes, because i'm going through the story. Yes Casper there is a story mode. And it is pretty cool, i must say. Definitly not a COD4, but fun non-the-less.

Yeah I had to play this single-player mode (shock that it existed) because I couldn't join an online game. It kept saying "can't find a game to join". Find it hard to believe. I also had problems loading the game, had to restart my ps3 3 times because it froze up.

just picked up this the other day.the single player is so so.the vehicles are like trying to drive a cardboard box.talk about clunky,they get stuck on the smallest things.the enemy AI is a joke.they spot you from across the map when you're not even visible in trees,WTF.you can barely make them out,but they always spot you.all the weapons sound cheap.they don't even sound anything like a gun.sounds more like two books being slapped together.
from what ive played online is a joke.ive never lagged this bad in COD.i put whole clips into people,just to get killed with a pistol.
why even use a mic,they don't seem to work for a shit in this game.played with Sirbob the other night.we could'nt even talk to each other.all i heard were a bunch of frogs.
hope they plan on getting some of these issues fixed soon,or this one will collect more dust than GTA4 which i traded in to get this one.
tired of spending money on these games that are supposed to be next-gen,and turn out being crap.if i wanted to sped 60$ on shit,I'll buy some fertilizer.

I haven't bought the full version yet b/c I felt that same exact way about the demo. I was thining of trading MGS4 for BFBC, but think I'll keep waiting and play MGS4 again.

ok, so i finished the story mode.not really sure what the whole point of collecting the gold was for.does it unlock hidden features in the game?do i get to keep all those weapons i found,and use them in multi-player?i dont even think it unlocks a harder mode.so what the hell was the point?
it seemed to me,the whole story mode was a "point A to point B"type of game with no real objectives.im pretty sure you can go through the whole story mode without picking up one piece of gold, with no different outcome.
think it would have been cooler to actually hide the gold in the maps for you to find and use in multi player to buy weapons and other items.
