I've tried to associate the freezing/lag with something else to maybe narrow it down. I thought for a while that it was happening when people join but, that was a coincidence. Today was really bad at times. Nothing to associate it with that I noticed.

The mic worked for Hightime and I a whole game and a half. w00t :|

I'm not sure if this was a coincidence or not, but one game I had my mic turned off. Hightime came on my squad and it appeared that he was talking, so I turned on my mic. It didn't work, but then I started to have the freezing problem. It was horrible for the rest of that game (I quit after that one). It was running perfectly until I turned on my mic.

i had a similar problem last night, but i think it even carried over into call of duty after i stopped playing BF. it looked like i didnt have a mic last night there, but i was definitely hearing people through it

If you leave bf bc and go to cod the mic will not work. You have to shut the ps3 down and start over.

Are you all using a bluetooth mic for this? I can try and play some games without mine but, I have a USB mic.

Feature request: more spawn control.

What I'm imagining is when you select to spawn to a squad mate, you can see a list of all available (and alive) squad members. You can then pick one to spawn to instead of being forced into one. An extra feature would allow us to see what class each squad member is, so that you can change your kit to ensure that you don't have a squad full of snipers, for example.

Yep, nothing like spawning on a squad member just as 3 guys jump him (and you).
You're not paranoid if they really are out to get you!!!!

I've got a usb headset as well and it works very sporaticly... i don't worry about having to turn the ps3 off to get it to work again, cause mine still reboots everytime i quit the game anyway...

Here is a gameplay "rule" that irks me:

The game should never, ever end if there are attackers alive and a charge is set. I guess I can understand why they wanted the game to end when all respawns are used up, otherwise someone could hide and it would never end. But... when the attackers still have people alive and a charge is about to blow, the game absolutely should not end when the respawn allotment runs out.

Question, when shooting is it better to aim "look through the sights" or just point and shoot. The reason I am asking is that I aim a lot and the other guy is running and I die first. Is there an auto aim when not using the sights??

I think it depends on the gun you are using Matt. If i'm using a support class sub-machine gun against a guy with a specialist uzi and we're in close quarters combat, 9 of 10 times he will win. Regardless of pulling up your sights. It does take some time if your runnin to bring up sights compared to just pray and spray. If you don't bring up your sights there should still be floating cross hairs or a circle to show you where your gun is pointing.

I usually base my decision to use sights or not on how close the enemy is and if he has seen me or not. If we are close quarters,I rarely use sights. If we are medium distance and I am using an assualt rifle, I will begin firing and then pull up the sights as I am shooting. This takes a bit of practice, but works for me. If at medium distance using a specialist weapon, always pull up sights before firing. At long range, If using anything other than an assualt rifle, support, or sniper rifle, find cover and throw a grenade, or seek a way to flank.

NO, there is no auto aim. Hope this helps a bit! See you on the Battlefield!

I dunno about the attackers alive part, but i know atleast once the charge was set and as soon as the game ended, the crate exploded and would have given reinforcements...I think it should be like on COD4 in search and destroy.. if all the guys are dead, you still have to difuse the bomb.
